Year 6 Attainment – 2016

 

Context: In relation to the previous levels system, the following percentages of children achieved the national expected level of 2B+ - Reading 60%, Writing 64%, Maths 60% - The combined R/W/M percentage was 53%.

note: the cohort now contains some children who were not at the school during Year 2.

 

Attainment for Writing is based on teacher assessments – these results are therefore final – Writing Levels were moderated in 2015 by NYCC.

Progress from KS1 to KS2

 

Under the new system for assessment, progress is no longer judged by the percentage of children making 2+ levels progress. Instead a progress indicator is used to show the amount of progress made.

 

O indicates the national average expected progress - Less than 0 – indicates below national average progress and above 0 indicates above national average progress
