Welcome to the Year 5 Home Learning Page

Please note: We will not be adding daily Home Learning Tasks during the Easter Holiday period (Saturday 4th April - Sunday 19th April). Instead there will be a range of activities that the children can complete, if they wish. Please don't feel like you have to complete them all, or any of them if you don't want to. They are just there as ideas if the children would like something to do. These ideas are posted below in the 'Easter Activity' section.

Please continue to email me photos and these will be picked up after the Easter holidays.

Parent support during COVID 19

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and that your home learning is going well!

I am LOVING all the emails that I am receiving, showing all the work that you have been doing at home. Keep up the hard work and stay in touch. Seeing your happy, smiley faces makes my day!

Take care.

Love Miss James

Welcome to Year 5's Home Learning Page

Each day different activities will be posted on here for the children to complete at home. These will be, where possible, similar activities to what we would have completed in class.

There will be English, Maths and Reading work each day, as well as learning for Science, Topic, Art and PE.

Joe Wicks is carrying out live PE sessions on his youtube channel daily, from 9am. If your child would like to take part in these, please use the link below:

Below is a guide that your child could follow for their learning each day. Ideally, I would like them to complete Maths and English work every day. The work will be listed daily and should be completed in their home learning books where possible. Other activity ideas for lessons such as Science and Art etc. will also be listed. However, please also feel free to use your own ideas, e.g. baking, outside learning in the garden, lego challenges etc.
