Home Learning Summer Term 2 2020

Monday 1st June-Friday 17th July 2020

Welcome back to the second part of the Summer Term. I hope that you all had a relaxing and enjoyable half term holiday despite the lockdown restrictions.

Home Learning for Y2 will continue as it has in previous weeks with daily tasks being uploaded onto this page for you to access. I will continue to check the Y2 email account year2@greatwood.n-yorks.sch.uk so if you would like to get in touch with me or send photos you can do so in this way. Alternatively for other enquiries you can either email us at admin@greatwood.n-yorks.sch.uk or call the office on 01756 793609.

Here is an overview of what we will be learning over the next 7 weeks and guidance for parents. Please remember that the learning posted on this page is not compulsory, just try to do what you can each day. It's important to try to get a balance between school work and family time.

Home Learning Summer Term 1 2020

(20th April - 22nd May 2020)

Welcome back after the Easter break! I hope that everyone is safe and well and that despite the current restrictions you have enjoyed some family time at home together. It has certainly helped that the sun has been shining! I'm looking forward to seeing lots of your photos over the coming weeks so that we can all keep in touch even though we are not at school together right now. Please try not to worry about 'falling behind' with learning. We know that it can be difficult trying to learn from home for many reasons. Once we are back at school we will make sure that teaching begins where the children left off so that they do not miss out on important learning opportunities.

Below is an overview of what we will be learning over the next 5 weeks and guidance for parents. Please remember that the learning posted on this page is not compulsory, just try to do what you can each day. It's important to try to get a balance between school work and family time.
