In addition, children also have their home learning packs which were given out on Friday. These contain a Maths and English CGP book to work through, a blue book to record work in, the year 3/4 statutory spellings, ideas for non-screen activities and a list of 100 things to do indoors.

The P.E. sessions are run live at 9am every morning by Joe Wicks and can be accessed on his YouTube channel:

Please remember to take regular movement breaks throughout the day. If possible go out into your garden or back yard to exercise or simply to enjoy the lovely weather we are experiencing at the moment.

Don't forget you can also get in touch with me through our school e-mail :

Additional Resources

Reading Opportunity:

Your child can now listen to a whole range of books for free whilst the children are off school at the moment courtesy of www.audible.com. Their texts are organised in age bands so it should be quite easy to download and enjoy listening to a good book!

                                   Good News Everyone!!

The Northern Star Accademies Trust has arranged a virtual Sports Day for all their schools which will take place on Thursday 25th June. It will be a great opportunity for Greatwood children to showcase their talents. I have included all the information you will need to take part below, just click on the football symbol.

Welcome Back!

I hope that you have managed to enjoy all the lovely weather we have been having over the holiday. I've been doing lots of jobs in my garden and trying to keep myself busy. This week marks the beginning of the final summer term and our topic theme is 'Mighty Mountains'! I'm hoping you will enjoy it. Have fun and continue to stay safe,

Love Mrs Godfrey  smiley

                              May Half Term Holiday

As you may be pleased to find out there is no set work for the half term holiday although if you are feeling bored I've put a few ideas below. Many have a football theme and there are some great colouring activities too. Don't forget you can also find extra ideas in the additional resources section of our home learning page too. Let's hope that the weather stays nice so you can get lots of fresh air outdoors too!

Keep yourselves safe and well.

                smileyThank you!smiley

What a lovely surprise I had when I logged on to our class page yesterday evening. Your video was amazing!! Thank you so much children. As you can imagine it made me cry- lots of happy tears!! It was so lovely to see all your happy faces and I can't believe how much some of you have grown- all your lovely art work too.

I wanted to say a big thank you to Dillon's mum for organising the video and for all the parents who put the plan into action so quickly. Your thoughtfulness means a great deal.

Please take care and stay safe,

Love- Mrs Godfreysmiley

Easter Holidays:
