Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! Did any of you take part in special celebrations at home to remember VE Day? If you have any photos send them to the Y2 email, I'd love to see them.
Let's start our week.
Choose an activity that you'd like to do today.
Spellings. First ask some one to test you on last week's spellings.
Here are this week's spellings for you to learn. If you go to daily phonics choose the phonics list.
Today we are going to look at a lesson all about adjectives or describing words. I'd like you to work through the lesson and complete Activity 1 and Activity 2. Here is the link to the lesson.
Using Descriptive Words
This week we are going to focus on multiplication and division. Today I'd like you to complete pages 3 and 4 of the booklet attached below.
Looking on the Bright Side!
Staying at home, not seeing our friends and extended family, not going to school are all things that you might be getting fed up of after 7 weeks of lockdown.
However being at home with your family and having more time to spare can be a good thing. Today I want you, with your helper, to think about all the things you have enjoyed doing since we've had to stay at home. Maybe you've had more time to do things that you like doing, maybe you've been able to try new activities that you've never done before. Use the template below (either print or create your own) to draw and write a caption about the positives of staying at home.
