Good Morning Everyone! Welcome to Week 4. I hope you had a great weekend, did any of you hold any special celebrations for VE Day? Let me know if you did, I'd love to hear about it.
Choose an energetic activity to get your day off to an active start.
Ask someone at home to test you on last week's spellings with a de or re prefix.
Here are this week's spellings. This week we are learning about the prefix 'over'
Now I'd like you to use a dictionary (or an online dictionary) to find the meaning of the words. Then write each word into a meaningful sentence.
If you are struggling for a dictionary perhaps you could ask someone at home if they can help with any unknown meanings.
This week we are going to be re-capping work on statistics. Today we are going to look at line graphs. Complete the worksheets below. If you have a printer you could print them out and work on the sheet but if not don't worry. Try to copy the graph into your book and add the data there then write the answers to the questions in your book. There are 3 levels of difficulty. Choose the one you feel most comfortable with. If it is too easy try the harder ones.
PSHE: Looking forward
A week or so ago I asked you to consider all the positive things that have happened to you since the lockdown began. I hope you were able to identify some things and are continuing to enjoy them whilst we are still staying at home.
Today I want us to look forward and think about the time when the lockdown will be eased and things will begin to get back to the way they were. What are looking forward to doing that we can't do right now?
Use the template below (either print or create your own) to record your ideas in pictures and captions.
