For your English work today I would like you to read the text 'Strawberries' from the English work booklet below. Read the text carefully and then have a go at answering the questions on the text.
If we had been in school this half term, we would have been learning about 'Living Things and their Habitats'. Our learning would have covered animals' life cycles and life processes. When we were learning about 'Animals including Humans' we learnt about the life cycle of a human. Can you remember the different stages?
- early adulthood
- middle adulthood
- late adulthood/ old age
For your science learning today I would like you to research and learn more about the life cycle of an animal of your choice. What different stages does it go through in it's lifetime?
Carry out some research by typing into google:
info for kids on the life cycle of .....
Then choose the website that looks most appropriate, e.g.
Complete the worksheet below, showing the different stages of your animal's life cycle. Draw a picture of each stage and write some sentences/ bullet points about them.
Write down any interesting facts you learn today about your chosen animal and we will use these facts tomorrow to produce some writing.
Try and carry out some daily exercise, whether you go on a walk, carry out Joe Wicks or do some Just Dance videos on youtube.
Have a good rest of the day!
