Tuesday 19th May

Good Morning Everyone!

Exercise

Choose an active task to get your day off to an energetic start.

English

Today we are going to work on a reading lesson using a BBC daily lesson. The link is below and there are 3 activities for you to complete. If you don't have time to do them all today don't worry. Pick the activities you'd like to do most and then perhaps re-visit the others another day when you have more time.

Maths

We will continue our work on multiplication and division. I'd like you to complete pages 4, and 6 of the booklet below.

Afternoon Activity

As this is the last week of our learning about Australia I'd like you work on your own Australian project this week. You can choose whatever you want to do and I've listed some ideas below in case you're struggling to think of an idea. Don't forget to take photographs and send them to the Y5 email address so that I can see your fantastic work.

Australia Project Ideas

A piece of art work depicting a famous landscape of landmark in Australia, it could be a collage, painting, drawing, model

Design your dream holiday to Australia. Where will you go, where will you stay, what will you do. Make an itinerary including images to show all the details.

Produce a quiz all about Australia.

Make a powerpoint presentation about an aspect of Australia that interests you.

Produce a piece of Aboriginal art.

Make a visual map of Australia showing different regions, main cities, landmarks etc

Or you may have an idea of your own.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of your work!
